Firewoman 02:58

I'll tell you one thing, your words mean nothing I'll tell you one thing, our time is coming I'm on the outside looking in Seems like that's where I've always been Taking a risk is like a sin I'm yelling are you listening? Every time the bitter cold It chills and it grabs ahold It knocks you down on your knees And makes you pray for sweet release Oh, Drown out the sound I'll tell you one thing, your words mean nothing I'll tell you one thing, our time is coming Am I worth less than you? You must be taking me for a fool You judge and smile your crooked eyes They've got me everything but hypnotized Oh, Drown out the sound I'll tell you one thing, your words mean nothing I'll tell you one thing, our time is coming

Black Horse 04:27
You might just tell me I drink too much Because I'm your lover You might just think that way because Because of your mother You might just think that I'm feeding you Some kind of lie Hell, girl you know I'm not telling you Any lines You might just think this is all some Some kind of plan Hell, girl you know my plans were all All made of sand When the black horse has been put away I see the Bright lights as they start to fade but when I See you I'm in a whole new way I see the beauty in life The way you would look at me the Next day we fought Had me questioning all your Motives and thoughts I loved you for who I thought you were Without knowing the facts The way you would look at me and then stop Me dead in my tracks When the black horse has been put away I see the Bright lights as they start to fade but when I See you I'm in a whole new way I see the beauty in life Oh, how I would melt when I caught you staring at me Now all I see is a broken picture of what used to be Take this for what it was intended to be Your love, truly set me free When the black horse has been put away I see the Bright lights as they start to fade but when I See you I'm in a whole new way I see the beauty in life

Revolution 03:49
I see a man that wants to trade his soul Before the twilight starts to take control He tried to run before he couldn't walk The battle's over, now this is war Now we're taking the chance to get higher I see a revolution coming from a gun Are you proud enough to know when your time has come? The evolution after life, your rising sun The silence that surrounds his existence Only a name is left as evidence Beauty in his eyes fades with eventide Take honour with you when you leave tonight I see a revolution coming from a gun Are you proud enough to know when your time has come? The evolution after life, your rising sun Now we're taking the chance to get higher Take me higher, take me higher Now we're taking the chance to get higher Take me higher, take me higher Now we're taking the chance, now we're taking the... I see a revolution coming from a gun Are you proud enough to know when your time has come? The evolution after life, your rising sun Now we're taking the chance to get higher

A silhouette blurs, lies are disguised With light in your eyes Your hollow embrace, leaves a decadent taste Of bitter demise Where will you be, when you put love at risk Where will you be, when I'm betrayed with a kiss Where will you be, one year from now Where will you be, where will you be I ask myself why, in all my life Was my heart so blind Up comes the night, devours the light Eclipsing my mind Where will you be, when you put love at risk Where will you be, when I'm betrayed with a kiss Where will you be, one year from now Where will you be, where will you be

about

Frankie McQueen is a Calgary based power blues trio. Taking the “balls out” approach when it comes to their live show, Frankie McQueen likes to leave the stage and their audience whisky and beer soaked. Encompassing the attitude of Seattle grunge and the swagger of ZZ-Top, these guys are not afraid to take risks and are more likely to have a beer with a fan rather than sign an autograph. The stage is where this trio feels most at home and their onstage chemistry shows true brotherhood. Formed in 2007 by vocalist Scotty Charles and drummer Connor Muth, this bluesy three piece has worked hard to get their music across the country. The addition of bassist Corey Adams was a huge stepping stone in creating the sound that they now posses and was the catalyst to turn this rock group into a band of brothers playing groove based rock n’ roll with soulful melodies, tight drums, and groovy bass lines with the odd screaming solo peppered in. Since the release of their self titled EP in the spring of 2012 Frankie McQueen has had the opportunity to open for the likes of The Sam Roberts Band, Flash Lightnin’, Bedouin Soundclash, and Daniel Wesley to name a few and have also teamed up with Art Szabo of Sfear Management. Having the philosophy that they have to get out and cut their teeth on the road FMQ is not afraid to work day and night. The boy’s in Frankie have big plans for the future including a Canada wide tour and the release of their second EP in the spring of 2014 produced by Kirill Telichev.
